AusHomeValue

Terms of use

Clear boundaries for property research.

These terms apply when you use AusHomeValue, request a report, upload evidence or purchase a service.

Effective: 16 July 2026

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

1. Accepting these terms

By using the service or submitting a request, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering an agreement and provide accurate information.

2. General information—not professional advice

Estimates, ranges, comparable sales, scores, rankings, rental indicators and planning signals are general information and automated or data-assisted research. They are not a certified valuation, offer, guarantee, financial product advice, credit advice, legal advice, tax advice or development approval. See the Methodology.

3. Your decisions

Property decisions involve risk. You are responsible for checking current contracts, title, planning controls, building condition, finance, insurance, taxes and all other matters relevant to your circumstances, and for obtaining qualified advice where appropriate.

4. Accounts and report access

You must protect report links, access credentials and devices. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse prevention or legal compliance.

5. Uploads

You retain ownership of material you upload. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, analyse and present it only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the requested service. You confirm you have the right to provide it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, malicious or infringing. See the Uploaded Evidence Handling Notice.

6. Payments and refunds

Any price, currency, inclusions and whether a payment is one-off or recurring will be shown before purchase. Payments may be processed by a third party. Except where required by law or expressly stated, change-of-mind refunds are not guaranteed after a digital report has been supplied. Contact us if a service is faulty, materially different from its description or not supplied. Your Australian Consumer Law rights remain unaffected.

7. Acceptable use

Do not probe or bypass security, scrape at unreasonable volume, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, reverse engineer protected systems, use outputs unlawfully, or resell reports or datasets without permission.

8. Intellectual property

The service design, software, scoring presentation and original content belong to AusHomeValue or its licensors. You may use a report for your own internal property research. Third-party data and links remain subject to their owners' terms.

9. Availability and changes

We may improve, correct, suspend or discontinue features. Data sources can be delayed, changed or unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access, but will use reasonable care in supplying paid services.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by reliance on indicative information, user-provided errors, third-party data or events outside reasonable control. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or the reasonable cost of resupply. This does not apply where such a limit is prohibited by law.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. Contact info@aushomevalue.com.au for support or a dispute so we can try to resolve it promptly.
